Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement or mutual confidentiality agreement?

A.

Yes we will. Given the nature of our business we are often asked to commit to these types of agreements and following review of contract, we generally commit with no issue. We also have our own contracts that we can provide to you in the event that you do not have suitable documentation.

How do you charge? By the hour, the day or do you offer a project fee proposal?

A.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility so we are happy to offer you a fee schedule that suits you. We find that a project fee is often the best solution for both parties but not every type of project makes this possible.

Will we own the Intellectual Property that you create on our behalf?

A.

Yes. Once it's been delivered and we have been remunerated in full the IP is yours. However if you have an idea for a business concept and wish to involve us in a joint venture type arrangement then we are open to hear any suggestions that you may have. We have previous experience of entering into JV's with clients.

Do you offer a free, no obligation initial consultation?

A.

Yes we do. We are happy to have an initial telephone conversation or meeting to discuss your ideas. Generally, we will also be happy to offer you a fee proposal, free with no obligation. Under certain circumstances such as investigating a unique client requirement we may request a feasibility fee to cover our investigation and discovery time. In this scenario we will provide a detailed document with our findings that could be taken to another software developer in order to obtain like for like quotations.

What are your payment terms?

A.

Upon project acceptance we require a 50% deposit in order to commence work. The remaining balance becomes payable upon project completion. Certain third party charges are required in full, due to arrangements with our commercial partners.

What warranty do you provide on your technical solutions?

A.

We offer all clients a reasonable period of time following project completion where we will fix any bugs free of charge. The period depends on the type of project and will be determined during the fee proposal stage. Fixes required due to third party changes are chargeable outside of our support scope. Ongoing maintenance retainers can be negotiated upon request depending on the type of project.

What are your office hours?

A.

The office is open from 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. Outside of office hours we ensure that emails are monitored. You will be provided with your account managers mobile phone number for making contact any time.
